UPDATE: The state of The Quick and the Zed 06-17-19

This is just a little update to let everyone, who is interested, know what is happening with the blog. Due to a vision problem I am dealing with, I have decided to put The Quick and the Zed on hiatus until the problem is taken care of.

Thank you for your patience and understanding,

Blogger name change

I decided to change my blogger name as I really was beginning to dislike "Bub".

I decided to go back to the name "BLACKSTAR", that I used for a while, as it sounds better and fits in  well with many different genres from fantasy to historical to sci-fi.

You can call me BLACKSTAR, or  you can refer to me by my given name of Steve, whatever you feel comfortable with.

Bodies on The Slab: New zombie type on my Workbench (The Slab)

I've been busy painting some Zombicide zombies of a type I have not painted before, mainly because All Things Zombie doesn't use  Toxic zombies like Zombiecide, per se. But I have quite a few Toxic zombies that have been laying around collecting dust, plus I'm  of a mind to develop my own house rules to incorporate them into my own ATZ games.

I painted these zombies mainly using a combination of Reaper MSP colors and The Army Painter's Quickshade Washes -

I have several more unpainted Toxic zombies to complete, as well as some survivors, gangers, police officers, and soldiers.
